ABOUT

I am a father. A husband. A brother. A son. An uncle many times over. I have a job. I have a dog. I live in New York City. I’m not happy with where my life is or the decisions I’m making (and not making) to improve it.

You don’t need to know much else.

I’m seeking a mental peace of mind. A happiness that has eluded me for a while now.

Over the course of the next year, I will become a samurai. To live by the bushido, the way of the warrior, the code the samurai used to guide their lives. This blog is going to chronicle my journey from ordinary man to warrior.

I’m not even a hundred percent what it means to live like a samurai and I’m less sure how I’m going to react to living that way. But I do know that the majority of samurai lived in mental peace through incredibly tough times, violent times. And I’m pursuing that same mental fortitude.
